Since like the eigth, grade this group of girls has been my main click. I have to admit that since graduation, we have drifted, but in our hearts we will always be together.
Jennifer: She is more commonly know as my lil' Jen. She has been one of my best friends since middle school began. Her and I have been through so much shit together. I have to say we have the worst fights of any two people I know, without actually getting physical. But you know what? Through all the fights we have remanded friends. We have become like sisters; we love like sisters and we pointlessly bicker like sisters. I really believe in the saying "the best of friends have the worst of fights." Currently, Jen is in the Army stationed at Fort Myer. She was recently enganged to Steve and the two plan on getting married in December.
Emily: Emily is one of the first friends I made when I moved to St. Mary's County, in the second grade. She is now one of the only friends I still have from that time. Our friendship proves that a true friend last through the tolls of time. I can remember when Emily and I use to watch and play basketball for our local park and recs team. In fifth grade we were forced to go to differant elementary schools, but sure enough we were back together in middle school. As for now, Em attends Campbell University and she is studying to go into the medical field. She and Jeff, her high school sweetheart are engaged and plan to be married sometime after he graduates from the Naval Academy.
Tarah: This girl is a wild child. It seemed like forever before she finally got to go to Chopticon with the rest of us. We thought that she would be there in the ninth grade, but she didn't end up coming until senior year. The odd thing was she didn't have to worry about meeting new friends because she already had tons at CHS. I mean she hung out with our crowd forever. Freshman year she helped build our float and she didn't even go to our school yet. Now, little Tarah goes to Hyles Anderson. She is loving every minute of it, but she is greatly missed.
Memorable Moments: We have so many of these its hard to remember them all. I will probably slowly add more and more until I am satisfied. For now, I will only mention a few. The funniest one was during the blizzard of historic proportions in 1995(I think). The four of us were trapped in Tarah's LaPlata townhouse for a week. One night we decided it would be fun to sneak out to this pool hall/bar up the street. We got all pretty, put stuff animals in our bed, and headed out in the snow. We were only gone for about 5 minutes when Tarah's Dad pulled up next to us and took us back to the house. Once there, we faced a long boring lecture and were told our punishments. Then they asked why we had stuff animals on the bed and we said we wanted to sleep with them to keep us warm. We thought it was over until they pulled out this wooden duck bank. The quote "and who is going to sleep with this?!" rings through my mind. Of coarse they all turn, point to me, and say "Tracy!" What a shock. I always get stuck looking like an idiot. Another time, we all went out to Jens boat. It was kind of a saying good by to home, childhood, and whatever else gathering. It was nice to be with all the girls and do our usual talking, reminissing, and crying. Somehow no matter where we are those things always come into play. Well thats all for now, but don't worry, I'll have more soon.
