The new Backstreet Boys song has been boggling my mind ever since I first heard the first version. (The one played in the IWITW video.) What the HECK are they talking about?! The song made no sense to me! Until one day...EUREKA! I have discovered the meaning of the song!! Well actually, my mommy figured it out! :)
First of all, you have to pretend it is actually only two people singing the song, one a guy and one a girl. (Unless you prefer the same sex, then it's two girls or two guys.) Anywhooz, The first verse that Brian sings about "You are my fire..." is exactly what it means and let's say the guy is singing this part.
Now for Nick's part, "But we are two worlds..." pretend a second person is singing it, like the guy who sang the first verse's girlfriend. See, she's saying, it's not gonna work buddy, and I'm sorry but I can't do it your way.
Now the chorus, "Tell me why..." the girl is saying WHY do you want it that way? It's only a mistake! It's only gonna be a heartache and that's why she never want to hear him say that he wants it that way.
AJ's part is basically the guy being stubborn. He sorta realizes that it IS too late but he can't help but still try to make it work!
When Kevin sings, he's FINALLY admitting, yeah it's not gonna work but you will still hold a special place in my heart. (aww)

OK, we have ALL been wondering what the heck Nick's little coded message he thought was neccesary to stick in his thank yous to ANNOY everyone meant! ANYWAYS, thanks to the "Backstreet Babes" newsletter, I found out (and decided to share with yall) that "5483-5433-86-843-3855378-367-843-388873-47-722723" means "Live life to the fullest for the future is scarce."
Geez, I thought it'd be something about his girlfriend or some intimate message! Instead it was just...that. I am disapointed Nicky-poo. You know how I say AJ always wears tanks and stuff? Well my mom was like, he's a smart boy because during concerts he always has like nothing on lol but Brian and them have like layers and JACKETS on! So he's the only smart one! : ) Yah know how AJ ustah date Marissa, the Wright's daughter? I KNOW WHO SHE IS!! She is the African-American gurlie in dah ALAYLM video! Why do I think this? In the All Access video, the director said "Action Marissa" and the girl he was talking to was her and then I was watching the Revenge of the Boy Bands on MTV and they showed the rights and Johnny Wright or whatever his name is lol is black so I just started thinking and HEY! That's what I got!
