"A Quiet Morning"

The tires slush through the puddled streets as my weary eyes awaken. I stretch my arms and yawn with a sigh. I turn to watch you slumber; your look serene. I bend and lay a gentle kiss to your forehead, you stir slightly yet sleep still. I smile as I nestle under the covers, cuddling to your body for warmth. I gently wrap my one arm around your body as my noze nuzzles your chest. Your eyes open; you smile sleepily upon me. You softly caress my cheek and give a loving kiss to my lips as I smile. Happiness overflowing, there need be no words.
For there lies love; heart to heart.
