I lay down
and close my eyes
the soft breeze blows
rustling my hair
the sweet smell of rain
as the water pours down
soaking my eyes
moistening my lips
I feel you with
my fingertips
the hot wind of your breath
in my ear
indescribeable emotion
when you are near
I open my eyes
and see yours staring back
overcome with joy
I smile and begin to laugh
As your lips drink from mine
loving devotion
filled with soulful emotion
without concept of time
sunlight breaks
the dew sparkles like diamonds
but I remain lost
within your tender eyes
how much I love you
for dispersing the lies
