Rocky Road Brownies
- 1 box brownie mix - your favorite brand - 20 to 25 oz. pkg.
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation -
Bake the brownies in a 9" x 13" pan, according to the package directions for
"cake-like" brownies. As soon as the baked brownies are removed from the oven, sprinkle the miniature marshmallows evenly over the top. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over top. In a saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the milk, stirring constantly. (The chocolate can also be melted in a microwave oven.) Remove from heat as soon as the chocolate is melted. Stir until smooth. Drizzle the chocolate/milk mixture over the marshmallow and nut-topped brownies. Cool completely on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
