Snowball
Cookies
- 1/2 cups butter
- 2 T. honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup pecans - chopped
- 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
Preparation -
Using an electric mixer, beat the butter
and honey together in a large mixing bowl. Add the vanilla, flour, and
chopped pecans. Sir with a spoon to mix well. Shape the dough
into 1" round balls. Place the balls about 1" apart on a cookie
sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 12 to 14 minutes
or until very lightly browned. Remove
from the oven and cool slightly on wire racks. Roll the partially cooled cookies in Confectioners' sugar until coated. For
colorful Christmas cookies, roll in red and green
granulated sugar after rolling in
Confectioners' sugar.
