Oyster Stew
- 1 dozen stewing oysters (in brine)
- 3 T. butter
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning
Preparation -
In a large pan, melt butter. Add
oysters with the brine and cook over
medium heat about 5 minutes or until
edges of oysters curl up. Add milk and
seasonings. Continue cooking over medium
heat, stirring often, just to very
low boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer
20 minutes. Serve with OTC
crackers.
