Green Bean Casserole
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 boxes (9 oz. each)frozen cut green beans, cooked or 2 cans (16 oz. each) cut green beans
- 1 can french-fried onions (about 1-1/3 cups)
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation -
If using frozen green beans, cook until tender and drain. If using canned green beans, drain the liquid from the cans. Combine the soup, milk, and pepper in a 1-1/2 quart casserole. Stir in the green beans and 2/3 cup french-fried onions. Bake in a preheated oven at 350º degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining 2/3 cup french fried onions. Bake for 5 more minutes or until the topping is lightly browned.
