Welcome Cheerleaders! This is a special page made to show you all how to keep in shape, remain healthy and looking great. Cheerleaders don't have to be on a fixed diet. I take vitamins everyday drink water or diet pops and really try to watch my intake of fatty-high calorie foods. As you know, cheering needs athletic ability so you have to be fit. I'm not saying, you have to be able to bench press 200lbs., but being fit and feeling great about yourself is key to being a good cheerleader! If you excercise reguarly and keep a good diet, you will have great matabolism and burn calories/build muscle faster! Pre-season or post-season needs extra attenion... Here are a few cool things you may want to do to stay in shape. Try joining a fun areobic class, kick boxing, or karate. Maybe you want to remain in a school sport...basketball, volleyball, swimming? I think cheerleaders should be involved in dance and gymnastic classes too. Those two combined make up more than 90% of cheerleading. Try running around your neighborhood, on a tredmill, lift weights (2-10lbs.) and do sit-ups 3-5 days a week!!! Doing these things will help you improve cheerleading skills and look and feel even better!!! Keeping your beauty routine low-key is also important. The less makeup the better you'll look. Keep hair up, and bouncy tied w/ a pretty ribbon. Always keep smilin'! If you would like to contribute to this web page, e-mail your news and reports soon to be posted! ALL comments and questions need to be sent soon, thanks.
