The Book of Revelation

The Book Of Revelation would have to be the most misinterpreted book of the Bible. No other part of God's Word has been so abused and had its original message so misunderstood as the Book of Revelation.

This is a very unfortunate fact, as it contains some of the most important messages about the Second Coming that we could ever read.

Revelation 12 tells us the Messiah will be born on earth during his return.

Revelation 12:1-2
"Then a great and mysterious sign appeared in the sky. There was a woman, whose dress was the sun and who had the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was soon to give birth, and the pains and suffering of childbirth made her cry out."

This doesn't specifically tell us the baby is Christ, but reading down to verse 5 it does.

Revelation 12:5
"Then she gave birth to a son, who will rule over all the nations with an iron rod. But the child was snatched away and taken to God and his throne."

The one who is to 'rule over all the nations with an iron rod' is no other than the Messiah. We know this by looking at Psalm 2.

Psalm 2:2,7,9
"Their rulers plot together against the Lord and against his messiah... I will tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to me, '...You shall break them with a rod of iron, and dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.'"

There are many more quotes from Revelation that I will be looking at on this page. This page will be updated again shortly.
