**Author's Note, if you haven't, its really better to go through the conversation and get to know the candidates before being confused in their weyrs.***

D'shen grins happily when you decide to go into his weyr. He bounces ahead of you, moving quickly, as it seems his habit to do so. When you enter his weyr from the circle where you had been, he bows down, smiling widely, "Welcome to D'shen's, Esnath's, and Eulay's weyr! Arrilynn was kidding when she said Ensath doesn't frighten away the tunnelsnakes. He does, you don't have to worry like the others did before. Eulay's the only one who stayed."

You look at the boy, worried,
"A dragon wouldn't be so happy about that! How could you have taken such a chance?"

D'shen chuckles, "I'm more worried about Eulay, my tunnelsnake. I don't mind all the tunnelsnakes. Its just I love and trained Eulay more. A dragon scares all the tunnelsnakes away, I knew that. It takes a lot of care and training to have Eulay trust me. Even then, he sometimes goes back to his natural feroicous ways. I don't mind it, much, because he steals and is a general nuisance more than he bites. He only bites strangers. Oops, excuse me!"

You step back, "He...he doesn't attack, does he?"

"Nah, I doubt you have to worry. If something happens, I have plenty of medicines that I always have in stock just for the occassion. Besides, they're really none too happy about light."

"Its dark in here!" you protest, now really uneasy. If D'shen stocks medicines for tunnelsnake bites, then that must mean there's been plenty.

D'shen laughs at you,
"Its only semi-dark, my friend. There's really not much danger here as any other weyr that doesn't have fire-lizard help. I just try to make friends instead of enemies out of them Besides, it IS only Eulay, and dear Esnath is in here, so there's no need to worry." D'shen hands you a glowbasket, though, "There, now they'll all scuttle away from you!"

You look away, suddenly embarressed for your outburst. Everyone in Pern should have grown up hating the tunnelsnake nuisances, you're surprised there's actually someone who's trying to make pets out of them!

Instead of dwelling on tunnelsnakes, you look around the weyr. Your first impression of it is the bareness. There's two entrances/exits, one being what you and Dashen just went through, and the second being to a room you're not sure what to. There are a few tables in carved out sections of the cave with glowbaskets on them. Under each table is various supplies. On the walls, there's some pictures pinned up, but Dashen's "semi-darkness" makes it so you can't really discern what's on them. Onto one side, farther into the cave, you notice a dragon-couch. You do a double-take when you see eyes peering at you. Esnath! He's awake!

The hatchling, though, merely blinks. Apparently, he'd only woken to see who had walked in. Esnath, seeing all is well, curls up and falls back to sleep.
You turn towards Dashen, and realize he's wandered over towards the second entrance. Curious as to what he's doing, follow him.
