Bloomsbury Forge Shires and Crosses: "Bloomsbury Forge is located on 100+ acres in southern Frederick County, Maryland at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain. The farm was one of the first iron forges in Maryland in colonial times and the original part of the stone house was built around 1780. It is a beautiful setting for horses with wonderful pasture and lots of space for foals to run and play and grow strong. We are currently raising registered Shires and Shire cross sport horses and have some of both for sale."

Fox Valley Casanova: "Casanova is a 1990 English Shire stallion residing in Edgewood, NM. Casanova stands 18 hands and weighs in at about 1800 lbs. He is an excellent mover and is currently in dressage training. Casanova is typical of the type of shire produced by Bodernog Ambassador - well set head and neck, beautiful, kind head, good size, and perfect proportions. He has only been in training a couple of months and is already a very impressive mover. He has great impulsion, elasticity, and balance."
Harmony Acres: "At Harmony Acres, we breed Shire Sporthorses, otherwise known as American Warmbloods. Our stallion, Vincenzo, is built and used for dressage. He is very scopey, uphill, athletic, and about as refined as you can get when you are talking about 1800 lbs. We primarily cross him with Thoroughbred mares, but do breed a wide range of outside mares of other breeding. I would say that at Harmony Acres, we breed for temperament and soundness first. Our babies range in size from 15.2 to 17.2 hands, depending on how big the mare was. I do this because, although I prefer large horses, many of my clients do not want a 17.2 hand horse. We breed for each person's preference. All of our babies are individuals, with lots of love to give, good bone, beautiful floating movement, nice heads and necks, good sloping shoulders, and unlimited potential. If you want to field hunt, do dressage, event, or even go jumper, our babies have done it! We are Harmony Acres only breed 1/4 or 1/2 Shire Thoroughbred crosses. We have the right horses to fill everyone's needs."

King Creek Shires: "King Creek Shires was established in 1992. We are located in Dexter, Minnesota, about 100 miles south of Minneapolis on Interstate 90. We fell in Love with the Shire breed at first sight. We breed for soundness, confirmation and temperament. We imprint all of our foals and work with them from the day they are born to make a calm and willing animal. We don't show our horses but have chosen to spend all our time raising quality animals. They are the joy of our life."
Northeast Shires: "Northeast Shires is dedicated to producing the finest Shire foals possible. We are a small operation consisting of three brood mares, but because of our size we are able to give our foals superior training, starting when they are only minutes old and continuing until the foal is sold. This quality of care and training produces foals that tie, lead, trailer, clip, and are the favorite horses of farriers and vets."

A new facility that offers both inside and outside board with a large indoor riding arena. Many years of horsemanship go into the running of Vonavet and the care and attention received daily is testimony to that."
