#44 Kevin Holness - Team Captain

NPSL Career: Dressed for 5 games with Wichita in 95/96. In the 96/97 season, Kevin set the record for games played in a season with 46. Kevin had been the Drillers assistant captain the last two seasons - he is now the captain - and is a leader off the field.

PERSONAL: This past summer Kevin and his wife Dawn had their first child Kiah Chardae Holness. Known as "Skatch" to his teammates, Kevin has toiled with the Winnipeg Fury, Montreal Impact, Toronto Blizzard, Toronto Shooting Stars, and Toronto Lynx, and well as playing on the National U-16, U-19, and Olympic squads.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
感layed his 100th NPSL game on 12/29 @ Buffalo.
惹cored his 100th NPSL point on 11/18 vs Montreal.

#4 O'Neil Brown

Position: Defender

Born: March 4, 1973

NPSL Career: 1997-98: Brown finished the season second on the club for blocks with 56. 1996-97: O'Neil played in 4 games with the Toronto Shooting Stars, picking up 1 A and 1 block.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: 幹inished second on the club with 79 blocks. 愛ecorded his 100th block on 02/07 vs St. Louis

#22 Carmine Isacco

Position: Goalkeeper

Toronto, Ontario

NPSL CAREER: This will be Carmine's fourth season in the NPSL. After establishing himelf as a starter with Toronto in 96/97, Carmine has spent two seasons being hte undertudy to Indoor Soccer legend Victor Nogueria in Milwaukee. Carmine was also a member of the Wave's 97/98 NPSL Championship winning squad.

PERSONAL: Carmine has played in the A-league with the Milwaukee Rampage, and the Rochester Ragin Rhinos, winning a championship with the Rampage in 97. He attended the University of Maryland (College Park) and has been a member of the Canadian Olympic soccer team.

#6 Nikola Vignjevic

Position: Forward
Height: 6-2

Born: March 12, 1971 in
Blgrade, Yugoslavia
Shoots: Left

NPSL Career: Nikola had played two seasons in the NPSL prior to hooking up with the Drill last season. Both of those seasons were spent in Cleveland. Nikola scored three goals in his very first game in the NPSL against Toronto. In his first season Nikola scored 149 points in 40 games, finishing third on the team in scoring and making the NPSL All-Star reserve.

PERSONAL: Prior coming to the NPSL, Nikola played 13 games iwth San Jose of the Continental Indoor Soccer League. He has also played in the Yugoslavian first division with FC Cukaricki. Nikki has also played outdoor in the A-League with the Rochester Raging Rhinos, Staten Island Vipers, and Toronto Lynx.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
廈ad a seven game point streak. 愛ecorded 200th career point. 愛ecorded 50th career assist. 愛ecorded only cycle by a Driller that season. 愚issed 3 games wile playing for Yugoslav National Team at the European Futsal Championship. 微ead the Drillers last season in 1 point goals, shoot out goals, and assists.

#20 Carmen D'Onofrio
Position: Forward
Height: 6-1
Weight: 180
Born: April 16, 1974 in
Vancouver, British Columbia
Shoots: Right

NPSL Career: Carmen came into the league with the Drillers for the 96/97 seeason. He led the team in scroing with 112 points, and finished second in voting for NPSL Rookie of the Year, and was named to the NPSL First Team All-Rookie. In 97/98 Carmen had problems with injuries and missed 11 games due to the injury. The highlighs of the season would be Carmen scoring 7 points in the regular season finale versus Cincinnati.

PERSONAL: "Fonzie" as he is known to his teammates, has spent time in the A-League toiling for the Toronto Lynx and Vancouver 86ers. He has also played for the National Olympic Team. He attended Stanford College and recently played his 100th career game on 02/14 @ Detroit.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
廈olds single season record with 112 PTS in 1996-97.
惹cored 47 points on 13-2PG and 21 A in 26 games with the Drillers in 1997-98.

#3 Shayne Campbell
Position: Defender

Born: November 18, 1972 in
Guelph, Ontario
Shoots: Right

NPSL Career: Shayne came to the team in 96/97 throught the team's Rookie Camp. His rookie season saw him make the NPSL Second Team All Rookie squad.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
幹inished third on the club with 68 blocks. 愛ecorded his 100th Career Block, in his 91st Career game on 12/29 vs Buffalo. 感layed his 100th NPSL Career Game on 02/07 vs St. Louis

#12 Nebosja Vignjevic
Position: Midfielder
Height: 5-8
Weight: 165
Born: May 15, 1968 in
Belgrade, Yugoslavia
Shoots: Right

NPSL CAREER: This will be the first season in the NPSL for Nebosja.

PERSONAL: Nebosja comes to the Drillers after stints with Rad Beograd (RAD Belgrade), Paralimny, Pakovica and Partizan clubs. Joining Nebosja in Edmonton are his family consisting of wife Jelena and children Nemanja and Anja.

#7 Martin Dugas
Position: Forward
Height: 6-2
Weight: 180
Born: October 15, 1971 in
St. Catherines, Ontario
Shoots: Right

NPSL Career: Came into the league with the Drillers in 96/97 where he led the team in scoring in his second season. Holds the Drillers Iron Man record with 104 consecutive games played. Was NPSL scond-team all-rookie in 96/97.

PERSONAL: Toiled for three seasons with Camburr Leewwarden. Has also played with the Toronto Lynx, Hershey Wildcats, and Staten Island Vipers of the A-League. Martin is well known for his work in the community.

#23 Chris Handsor

Position: Midfielder
Height: 6-1

Born: January 14, 1972 in
Toronto, Ontario
Shoots: Right

NPSL Career: 95/96 saw Chris play for the Cleveland Crunch, where he was a member of the Championship winning side. In 96/97 Chris toiled with both the Philadelphia KiXX and Toronto Shooting Stars.

PERSONAL: Chris attended the University of Akron where he was an All-American as a freshman, and also was All-Conference. Nicknamed "Han-solo", Chris had a breakthrough year last season, and hopes to duplicate that success again. Cyndi loves you Chris!

#5 Kurt Bosch

Position: Midfielder

Born: March 19, 1976 in,
Cape Town, South Africa
Shoots: Right

NPSL CAREER: Kurt is entering his second season with the Drillers. He played with the club in the 97/98 season, and earned an NPSL All-Rookie First team selection.

PERSONAL: Kurt has been playing with the University of Alberta Golden Bears. He also has professional experience with the Montreal Impact of the A-league.

#40 Rick Titus

Position: Defender/Forward
Height: 6-1
Weight: 175
Born: March 10, 1969, in
Mississauga, Ontario
Shoots: Left

NPSL CAREER: Rick is now in his third stint with the Drillers. He broke into the league in 96 with the Toronto Shooting Stars, before coming to Edmonton in a trade. He has made a name for himself as being a hard-nosed, hard tackling defender.

PERSONAL: Known as "Gilla" to his teammates. He has played in the A-League with the Montreal Impact and the Hershey Wildcats. His alma mater is the University of Toronto, where he also played on their soccer team.

#13 Todd Rattee

Position: Defender
Height: 6-0
Weight: 200
Born: March 23, 1972 in
Montreal, Quebec
Shoots: Right

NPSL CAREER: Todd's first season in the league was 95/96, and he suited up with the Milwaukee Wave. During that season Todd made the NPSL All-Rookie squad. Since then Todd has represented the Drillers in an All-Star game, and been chosed to the post season NPSL All-Star squads.

PERSONAL: Todd spent the summer working on the sales team for the Drillers. Rattee spent the pervious four outdoor seasons with the Vancouver 86ers of the A-League, where he was selected to the A-Leagues's All-Rookie Team. The Drillers acquired him in October of 1996 in a trade with the Milwaukee Wave. He attended Simon Fraser University, earning a degree in geography. Rattee earned All-Conference and All-American honours.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
幹inish the regular season tied for first in the NPSL with 83 blocks a career high.
惹et a Drillers Club record, 7 blocks.
愛ecorded his 250th Career block.
幹inished 3rd in the balloting for the NPSL Defender of the Year and was selected Third Team All-Star while at SFU.

#1 Paul Shepherd

Postition: Goalkeeper

Born: June 28, 1976 in
Fareham, England

NPSL CAREER: This will be Paul's 3rd season in the league. He spent his first season backing up Scott Hileman seeing action in 9 games. Then last season backing up Pat Onstad, that time appearing in 10 games. Paul was selected to NPSL All Rookie record team in 97/98.

PERSONAL: Known as "Sheps" to his teammates, Paul has had a breakthrough year outdoor with the Vancouver 86ers and is hoping to recapture that success indoors with the Drillers. During Paul's professional career he has lined up with Dundee United, the Vancouver 86ers and the Montreal Impact.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
嵯id not dress for 3 games due to an abdominal strain.
慌on his first game of the season in overtime on 03/06 @ Harrisburg.

#10 Sipho Sibiya

Position: Midfielder/Forwar
Height: 5-10
Weight: 175
Born: July 28, 1971 in
Pretoria, South Africa
Shoots: Right

NPSL CAREER: Sipho came into the league with the Drillers in 96/97. Instantly becoming a fan favorite. Had played in every game the Drillers had ever played till and injury took him out of the line-up for the remainder of the season.

PERSONAL: Due to Sibiya's injury he was unable to play the 1999 Outdoor season and stayed in Edmonton to join the Edmonton Drillers Sales team aas well as coaching Drillers soccer camps along with O'Neil Brown and Todd Rattee. Sipho spent 4 outdoor seasons with the Vancouver 86ers of the A-League before spending the 1998 season with the Montreal Impact. He was selected as Vancouver's top rookie in 1994. Sibiya studied at Seattle Pacific University and Skagit Valley College.

#14 Paul Dailly

Position: Midfielder
Height: 5-9
Weight: 165
Born: July 26, 1971 in
Dundee, Scotland
Shoots: Right

NPSL CAREER: Paul Dailly broke into the NPSL with the Wichta Wings. Playing in Wichita for two seasons before coming to the Drillers. In his first season Paul was runner-up for NPSL Rookie of the Year, scoring 86 points in 39 games. He was also selected to the NPSL First Team All-Rookie squad. In his second season with the Wings, Paul scored 83 points in 36 games.

PERSONAL: Paul has played with Dundee United in Scotland, as well as the Vancouver 86ers of the A-league. This past summer Paul was the captain of the 86ers, and in 95 he was selected as the club's "Player of the Year".

#19 LeBaron Hollimon

Position: Defender/Midfielder
Height: 5-8

Born: August 13, 1969 in
Kansas City, Kansas
Shoots: Right

NPSL CAREER: LeBaron is heading into his 9th NPSL season. He broke into the league with the Tulsa Ambush in 1991. Then going to his hometown Wichita Wings the next season, and staying for seven more.

PERSONAL: "LB" graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a B.S. Biology (Pre-Med) degree, where he was also an All-American, and the school athlete of the year. LeBaron now resides in Edmonton with his wife Annette and son DeBray.

愛ecorded 250th point. 愛ecorded 150th block. 感layed in 250th game.

#8 Alfredo Valente

Position: Midfielder
Height: 5-6
Weight: 150
Born: November 6, 1980 in
Vancouver, British Columbia
Shoots: Left

NPSL CAREER: Alfredo appeared in 19 games last season with the Drill. Alfredo scored 4 two point goals and 2 assists.

PERSONAL: Alfredo has played two seasons outdoor with the A-leauge's Vancouver 86ers. During his first season he was the clubs Rookie of the Year. This summer Alfredo represented Canada in the Pan-American Games in Winnipeg.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
感layed in his first NPSL game on 11/28/98 vs Kansas City.
惹cored his first NPSL goal (2PG) on 02/13/99 at Baltimore.

#21 John Hawrekiak

Born: August 28, 1980 in
Edmonton, Alberta

NPSL CAREER: This will be John's second season on the Driller's Developmental squad. John saw action in one game last season while the club was in Milwaukee.

PERSONAL: John is a local product, who graduated from East Glen High School. His only professional experience has been with the Edmonton Drillers.

1998-99 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
愛egistered an assist the first time he touched the ball.
