"Do not fear I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" Isaiah 41:10.
The word fear is an unuttered word in the Heavenly kingdom and God does expect the same in a believer’s life even in this earthly kingdom. To make it simple, He does not expect us to fear even in times of perils and ordeals as he has enabled this dear sister to brave even fearsome days. As according to God’s will and her hearts desire Sis. Jegathamma happily married Bro. Ponraj on October 20 1988 and ever since, by the grace of God their marital life has only gained heights of joy, after every passing years; God did bless them with two brilliant sons of whom the eldest being Majesh mon is doing his 5th std and their next son Rajesh Mon is doing his 1st std and they both are being well groomed in the word of God as well as in their academics.
Sis. Jegathamma testifies as, “Though I was born in a Christian family I did not relish the experience of salvation. But during my nursing course, I gave my heart to Christ during a convention. Since I did not have the privilege of attending a spirit filled church I gradually back slided rather than growing in the Lord. Meantime God brought me to this land of Kuwait, though my aspirations of coming here was very less. After coming here I was totally confused about choosing the congregation, which I ought to attend. But God according to His word” I will give you shepherds after my own heart who will lead you with knowledge and understanding” Jer 3:15 enabled me to attend this spirit church for which I’m still grateful to the Lord.
After coming to this church, my life was never the same as before, since I could get closer to the Master’s feet every passing day. In 1994 I took water baptism, and later God did baptize me with His Holy Spirit, which brought in rivers of Joy to this yeaning soul. Ever since God did uphold me many times in times of chaos and danger. I would like to share one of the many wonders, which the Lord performed in my life. Once while I was in my duty a patient committed suicide in my hospital ward and I became very nervous, since I knew, that I would be facing very serious problems because of this. In this wrecked state of mine God sustained me through the Prayers and counseling of Pastor and other church members. As a church everybody earnestly prayed and these prayers moved the heart of the just God to perform His righteous acts. Nothing serious happened or otherwise I would have been put to trial in the court to be questioned , facing many hardships and mental torture. All glory to God! Likewise God’s miraculous dealings and His manifold blessings are really innumerable for which we as a family would be grateful to the Lord as well as to this church in the years to come”.
We as congregation praise God for our dear sister’s family and we take this opportunity to thank her for all her striving efforts and prayers for the betterment of this magazine and also for the revival which this magazine can bring forth. Praise be to God. Amen!!
