Bro. Mani exalts God saying, “Hailing from a orthodox Hindu family I grew up in the idolatrous city of Bombay. In 1982 I landed up in Kuwait and I was living in total darkness here, since I have never tasted the love of Christ in my life till then. Many years passed like these in void of the knowledge of True God. Later God who brought me into this world sought this unredeemed soul to fulfill His predestined purposes. By the grace of God I could bring my wife down to Kuwait in the year 1995. I happened to hear Christ and I was regularly attending the Catholic Church for a long time but God wanted me to come to the full light. By the guidance of the servants of God I started attending services in the N.E.C.K compound.
Through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and by the guidance of the children of God, we as a family obeyed in taking water baptism. And our life was never the same as before after that. But there were many trials, which we had to face, but God who chose us from idolatry always carried us during those depressed times. But we could witness many miracles in our lives after we obeyed the Lord’s word. God showed me this Full Gospel Prayer Fellowship and after attending the services here, I can see a real change in my spiritual growth. It is too hard for me to miss a worship service of this kind. I never fail to attend the All night prayers of our church since that is a real blessing to me and my many tearful prayers has been answered and God has performed many miracles in my life.
We were much burdened and have spent many years crying for our elder son since he was totally dumb from his birth. After we came to the saving knowledge of Christ we poured our hearts to the One who called us out, into His light.
God wiped our tears by healing our son miraculously and he began to speak, to the surprise of all. Christ proved Himself strong on behalf of this miracle to my parents as well as to our relatives, who are still in the bondage of idolatry.
Though I had been working in Kuwait for all these 18 years, I never had a house of my own, back home. But we kept that desire at the Lord’s feet and prayed over it. God very soon answered our prayers and has given me one than I had dreamt off. All Glory to God on High. Last April we went to India as redeemed Christians and it was a real test of faith, because we knew that there would be too much opposition from our family members. But we fasted and prayed over it before going and since they could witness a great change in our lives they were highly influenced by our actions. We could witness the love of Christ to many over there.
Every good thing that has happened in our life, we ascribe to Our Heavenly Father on high and we are thankful to Christ for giving us an edified Church of this kind. Please pray for our other family members who are still in the clutches of idolatry. We as a family would be grateful to Christ as long as we live, for His Glory.” .
We bless them in the greatest name on earth, Jesus Christ. We do also pray that the real purpose of God’s act in choosing them, be fulfilled in the years to come. Let His shine light through this family among the heathen. Amen. .
