Though many would curse the Iraqi invasion, I can boldly say that was a blessing to this weary soul.Yes we too gained heavy losses due to the invasion and we returned home empty handed. But in India as according to his word ( Ephesians 1:4) God chose us in the midst of affliction and I gave my whole life to Christ after which I obeyed the word in taking water baptism on 3-6-91. Soon after God miraculously brought me to Kuwait and gave me more than what I had lost before. .
I praise the Most High God for planting me in this blessed Church where we can freely and truly worship the living God and moreover this fellowship paves way to grow spiritually. We thank God for the children school activities in our church where children can learn about God and glorify Him with His given talents.I thank God for enabling us to stay as a family in this land and attend the Monday service all these three years Once in order to attend the Monday service I changed my duty to Friday. If only I had not changed so I would have met with a fatal accident .All Glory to God on High . .
I can gladly say that the HOLY SPIRIT IS MY DEAREST FRIEND. Praising God as well as worshiping and meditating upon His verses really tastes much more than honey to this longing soul. When God through His Holy Spirit guides and foretells me about the latter happenings, I am really enlightened to witness in such a sinners life. Since He is wonderfully leading me I can candidly proclaim that God is my guide, Helper, Counselor and my Teacher. Once while I was travelling in a bus for duty (JAHRA) the Holy Spirit convicted me to check my purse, I turned back and since I found nobody sitting behind me I ignored His voice and even His repeated persuasion I did not heed to the call. As usual I went to the ward and when I checked my back pocket there I did not find my purse to my dismay. Then I was totally broken and I asked the Holy spirit to forgive my disobedient act and asked for His guidance .The Holy Spirit led me to K.P.T.C Head office where I gave my identification they immediately handed over to me my purse. This is very rare act of kindness in Kuwait and God alone should be praised for this. .
With a deep longing in my heart to witness Christ to the heathen I boldly said that Christ alone was the only person who has never committed any sin on the face of this earth. This made the other person furious who happened to be a mulla and he tried by all means to hand me over to the police so that they can deport me to India. This was a real fire but it was nothing before the mercy seat of God hence he honoured the heart that has honoured Him. Yes every weapon that was formed against me couldn’t prosper .ALL Glory to God on High !!” .
Sis.Judie says, “ I would like to share one of the many things God has done in my life. I felt too troubled and tiresome in working for the medical ward at the Ahmadi hospital. I wanted to somehow move out of that place but very soon God revealed His mystery of placing me there. He has already purposed to win many souls through me in that particular place, especially the Sri lankan Tamils who are desperate to see a change in their life. Now I’m too happy to work there .” .
They as a family proclaim that they would serve the Lord and this church with all their heart. We REAPERS Praise God for bringing this family into a place of abundance where they could testify of the Lord’s mercies day by day.
