"FOR I KNOW THE THOUGHTS THAT I THINK TOWARD YOU" SAYS THE LORD “THOUGHTS OF PEACE AND NOT OF EVIL, TO GIVE YOU A FUTURE AND A HOPE .-JER. 29:11.
It is a great privilege to share our testimony in this church. We hailed from a Roman Catholic background. According to God’s plan, we both got united in matrimony in the year 1982 Nov. 03 in Srilanka. We were blessed with a son in 1983. Now he is doing his first year B.com and II year I.T. in Madras.
We proclaim with joy that by the grace of god we accepted Christ as our Saviour and Master and got water baptism in the year 1992 and in 1995.
To many God is irrelevant. But for us HE was a ROCK in whom we trust. God’s ear is ever open to the cries of those who seek him in sincerity.
Now as Christians we are called to witness to a world which has turned its back on God.
Then we had an opportunity to meet few of our church members. They also shared the word of God with us. Since then we committed ourselves to this church and started attending all the services. The Bible tells us we should worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness - Ps 29:2. Holiness is an attitude of mind, a sanctuary for a sacred place.
Day by day we started growing more in Christ by getting good teachings from our pastors.
But as for me, I will walk in my integrity. My feet stands in an even place. In the congregation I will bless the Lord.
Let us remember one thing in our life. "The God who created you without you will not save you without you."
So I trust and believe that the good Lord will always lead us in His ways to serve Him wherever and whenever possible. We thank and praise the Lord for making us to be member of this wonderful church.
