Bangladesh army rape and torture indigenous Hindu people in Panchari
On 13 August 1985, Bangladesh army of 203rd Brigade posted at Panchari carried out raid against an indigenous Hindu village Bara Panchari Mouza in Panchari, Khagrachari district. Bangladesh army surrounded the village at night and unleashed terror, rape and atrocities against indigenous Hindu people. The victims are:
Bidhu Noni Tripure (50), son of Shyam Tanu Tripura of Bara Panchari Mouza, Panchari. He was severely beaten.
Satendra Lal Tripura (18), son of Bijay Kumar Tripura. He was beaten.
Boroni Kumar Tripura (40), son of Birajay Tripura. He was beaten.
Sindhu Kumar Tripura (36), son of Narendra Lal Tripura. He was severely beaten.
Shanti Priya Chakma (22), son of Laxmi Kumar Chakma. He was brutally beaten and tortured.
Jwarendra Lal Tripura (26), son of Jatindra Lal Tripura. He was mercilessly beaten.
Hari Kishor Tripura (25), son of Mangal Kumar Tripura. He was inhumanly tortured.
Srutashree Tripura (68), wife of Daong Kumar Tripura. He was beaten with bamboo sticks.
Madhu Rani Tripura (20), daughter of Birendra Lal Tripura. She was raped.
Mohori Tripura (21), wife of Binay Tripura. She was gang raped.
Sambhuri Tripura (15), daughter of Bidhu Moni Tripura. She was brutally raped and was left unconscious and in bleeding condition.
