On 21 December 2012 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers raped and killed Thomaching Marma (14 year) of Baradulu village under Kaukhali. On that day she went to bring back family's cows from nearby forest. The Muslim settlers raped and killed the Buddhist girl when they found her alone in the forest.
Bangladesh army rape indigenous women in Zaksha Bazar
On 16 August 1985, Bangladesh Army of 305th Brigade from Zaksha Bazar Army Camp led by Naib Subedar Tofazzal Hossain raided Dhebachari village in Zaksha Bazar, Rangamati district at night. Bangladesh army raped indigenous Buddhist girls and women. The victims are:
Jalanga Rani Chakma (16), daughter of Jorip Mohan Chakma of Dhebachari, Zaksha Bazar. She was gang raped infront of her parents.
Rangamila Chakma (45), wife of Jorip Mohan Chakma of Dhebachari, Zaksha Bazar. She was raped infront of her husband and daughter.
