Chakma Children of Mahalchari
On 3 April 2006, Bangladesh army and Muslim settlers attacked indigenous Buddhist people in Mahalchari of Khagrachari. Indigenous Chakma children took refuge at Balipara Primary School after their villages were burnt down by the Bangladesh army and Muslim settlers.

Bangladesh army tortured indigenous Chakma Buddhists in Mohalchari

On 26 January 1986, Bangladesh army from Kyangghat camp raided the indigenous Buddhist village of Khularam Para in Mohalchari, Khagrachari district. Bangladesh army tortured and robbed indigenous Buddhist people during the raid. The victims are:

  1. Satish Chandra Chakma (35), son of Larma Kochya of Manikchari Para, Mohalchari. Bangladesh army inhumanly beat and tortured him. Bangladesh army robbed 4 fowls from him.
  2. Balyaram Chakma (48), son of Saroda Charan Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  3. Kalya Chakma (55), son of Abhiroth Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  4. Manoranjan Chakma (52), of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  5. Randi Kumar Chakma (39), son of Bharat Muni Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  6. Uhla Aung Marma (35), son of late Pain Chai Marma, of Khularam Para.
  7. Hridoy Chakma (25), son of late Surajoy Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  8. Chinta Muni Chakma (40), son of late Surjoy Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  9. Sarat Kumar Chakma (47), son of late Indra Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  10. Bharat Kumar Chakma (44), son of late Indra Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  11. Rashik Kumar Chakma (40), son of late Indra Kumar Chakma of Khularam Para, Mohalchari.
  12. Jangalya Chakma (21), son of Ananta Chakma of Khularam Para , Mohalchari.
