On 21 December 2012 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers raped and killed Thomaching Marma (14 year) of Baradulu village under Kaukhali. On that day she went to bring back family's cows from nearby forest. The Muslim settlers raped and killed the Buddhist girl when they found her alone in the forest.

Bangladesh army molest indigenous Buddhist women in Matiranga

On 11 Nov. 1986, a group of 22 Bangladesh army personnel of 52 EBR from the army camp at Toikatang led by Lt. Bashir Ahmed surrounded the indigenous Buddhist village Nakkya Para in Matiranga, Khagrachari district.

It was tuesday and market day at Guimara Bazar. All the indigenous Buddhist men went to Guimara Bazar and women remained at home. The army personnel took this as an opportunity to rape and molest inidigenous Buddhist women. 2 Bangladesh army presonnel sexually molested Mrs. Kalabadhi Chakma (22), wife of Mr. Bindulya Chakma, of Nakkya Para, Matiranga.
