On 3 April 2006, Bangladesh army and Muslim settlers attacked indigenous Buddhist people in Mahalchari of Khagrachari. Bangladesh army and Muslim settlers gang raped Ms. Krajaima Marma (20) daughter of Chaihla Prue Marma at Saprue Karbaripara.

Bangladesh army rape indigenous Buddhist and Hindu people in Panchari

On 11 December 1986, Bangladesh army of 19 EBR from the army camp at Prodeep Para and Nalkaba carried out a military operation at Tarabon and Kuradia Chara in Panchari, Khagrachari district. During the operation Bangladesh army tortured many indigenous men and raped many indigenous women.

Bangladesh army also robbed gold ornaments from the indigenous women. The victims are:

1. Mr. Sashinath Chakma (42 yrs), son of Mr. Arpan Chakma of Tarabon in Lutiban Mouza, Panchari. Bangladesh army severely beat him at Digendra Roaza Para of Kuradia Chara Mouza, Panchari.
2. Miss. Kalindi Rani Chakma (18 yrs), daughter of Mr. Sashinath Chakma, address as above. Bangladesh army personnel barbarously raped her in her house.
3. Mr. Nalini Kumar Tripura (48 yrs), son of Mr. Robidhon Tripura, of Hori Sadhon Karbari Para of Kuradia Chara Mouza, Panchari. Bangladesh army took him to a school and severely beat him.
4. Mr. Sashi Bhusan Tripura (25 yrs), son of Mr. Nalini Kumar Tripura, address as above. Bangladesh army took him to a school and severely beat him.
5. Mr. Doshree Tripura (45 yrs), son of Mr. Vira Bhusan Tripura, address as above. Bangladesh army severely beat him.
6. Mrs. Sheba Phool Tripura (30 yrs), wife of Mr. Vira Bhusan Tripura, address as above. Bangladesh army beat and raped her in her house.
7. Mr. Ananta Singh Tripura (45 yrs), son of late Hori Sadhon Tripura, address as above. Bangladesh army at first beat him in his house and then took him to the primary school at Kuradia Chara where he was subjected to inhuman torture.
8. Mr. Chitto Bikash Tripura (30 yrs), son of Mr. Sachindra Tripura, address as above. As above.
9. Mrs. Vira Jenny Tripura (30 yrs), wife of Mr. Olimohan Tripura, address as above. Bangladesh army beat her and then barbarously raped her in her house.
10. Mr. Jotindra Karbari Tripura (60 yrs), son of late Robi Sinha Tripura of Lamba Para, Panchari. He was beaten in his own house and then he was taken to a school where he was inhumanly tortured by the army personnel.
11. Miss. Sona Bala Tripura (25 yrs), daughter of Mr. Nanda Lal Tripura address as above. She was gang raped in her house by the army personnel who also robbed from her a pair of ear rings and bangles made of gold.
12. Mrs. Barnana Bala Tripura (28 yrs), daughter of Mr. Jayanta Tripura, address as above. Bangladeh army gang raped her in her house.
13. Mrs. Monjila Tripura (31 yrs), daughter of Mr. Jayanta Tripura, address as above. Bangladeh army gang raped her in her house.
14. Mr. Bamonjoy Tripura (32 yrs), son of Mr. Purna Moni Tripura, address as above. He wes severely beaten and inhumanly tortured by the army personnel at the Primary School at Kuradia Chara.
15. Mr. Naitok Ram Tripura (26 yrs), son of Mr. Bhagya Kumar Tripura of Headman Para, Kuradia Chara, Psnchari. He was severely beaten in his own house by the army personnel.
16. Mr. Sneha Kumar Tripura (27 yrs), son of Mr. Rezadhon Tripura, address as above. He was severely beaten in his own house by the army personnel.
17. Mr. Toksui Tripura (49 yrs), son of Bhagya Moni Tripura, address as above. He was severely beaten in his own house by the army personnel.
18. Mr. Vikram Muni Tripura (35 yrs), son of Mr. Govinda Tripura, address as above. He was severely beaten in his own house by the army personnel.
