Bangladesh army tortures indigenous Tripura Hindus in Khagrachari

On 7 Dec. 1989, Bangladesh army of 31 EBR, from Kukichara Army Camp in Khagrachari arrested 2 innocent indigenous Tripura Hindus at Beltali in Khagrachari. Bangladesh army arrested the indigenous persons on a false allegation of helping the Shanti Bahini. The arrested persons were subjected to inhuman physical tortures. The victims are:

1. Mr. Shyamal Tripura, 20 yrs, son of Mr. Jatindra Tripura, of Beltali, No. 265 Bangal Kati Mouza, Khagrachari. He was arrested from his house and taken to a local Primary School where he was subjected to tortures.
2. Mr. Kulada Ranjan Tripura, 42 yrs, son of Mr. Ganesh Chandra Tripura, address as above. As above.
