Bangladesh army gang rape indigenous Buddhist mother and daughter in Suvolong
On 20 January 1990, Lt. Sharif of the 17 East Bengal Regiment of the Bangladesh Army from the Subalong Army Camp arrested an indigenous Buddhist mother and her daughter at Subalong in Rangamati:
Mrs. Kundali Chakma (35), the wife of Mr. Ananda Chakma of Chilak Dhak village in No. 1 Dhamaichara Mouza within the Barkal sub-district
Miss Niyatibala Chakma (13) the daughter of Mrs. Kundali Chakma
Lt. Sharif took mother and daughter to the Army Camp. There Lt. Sharif and his soldiers gang raped mother and daughter whole night and released them next day.
