On 17 April 2011 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers attacked 5 indigenous Buddhist villages in Ramgarh and 2 indigenous villages in Manikchari in Chittagong Hill Tracts. In this attack around 200 indigenous houses including 2 Buddhist temples were torched. At least 20 indigenous people were injured and at least half dozen indigenous people were missing. Muslim settlers attacked this indigenous Buddhist girl with machete.

Bangladesh army terrorize indigenous people in Khagrachari and Rangamati

On 6 June 1991, Bangladesh army of 8th EBR from Khariksyong army camp led by Capt. Mizanur Rahman arrested an indigenous man from Sagu Para of Banduk Bhanga Mouza in Rangamati sub-district. The victim is:

  1. Mr. Gurinala Chakma (35), son of Mr. Rangachula Chakma.

On 11 June 1991, Bangladesh army of 203rd Brigade from Chongrachari army camp launched a military operation against the indigenous people of Prabhat Karbari Para in Dighinala, Khagrachari district.

During the operation Bangladesh army arrested and tortued 11 indigenous people. Bangladesh army took 1 indigenous man to army camp for further interrogation and torture. The victim is:

  1. Mr. Joy Kumar Chakma (40), son of Mr. Naramya Chakma.

On 15 June 1991, Bangladesh army of 8th EBR from Naniachar army camp arrested an indigenous person at Burighat Bazar in Naniachar, Rangamati district. Bangladesh army took him to army camp for interrogation and torture. The victim is:

  1. Mr. Siddhartha Chakma (35), son of Mr. Demchoga Chakma.
