On 15 March 2015, Bangladeshi security forces attacked indigenous peple in Dighinala. Indigenous people were demostrating against construction of BGB headquarter at Babuchara in Dighinala. At least 8 indigenous people were injured in the attack.

Hill Student Council protests Longan Massacre at Khagrachari and Rangamati

On 13 April 1992, the Hill Student Council brought out a procession to protest the Logang massacre that took place on 10 April 1992. The Hill Student Council held a meeting at Khagrachari town and submitted a memorandum (addressed to the Home Minister) demanding a judicial inquiry into the massacre and also the political solution of the CHT problem.

On 14 April 1992, the Hill Student Council also staged another procession at Rangamati town over the incident.
