On 21 December 2012 Bangladesh army backed Muslim settlers raped and killed Thomaching Marma (14 year) of Baradulu village under Kaukhali. On that day she went to bring back family's cows from nearby forest. The Muslim settlers raped and killed the Buddhist girl when they found her alone in the forest.

Bangladesh army harass indigenous Chakma Buddhist in Lakshmichari

On 16 November 1995, Bangladesh army of Shuknachari Army Camp led by Leut. Sazzad and Subedar Soleman encircled the home of Mr. Nalindra Chakma (25), the son of Mr. Tanakka Chakma of Shuknachari village in Lakshmichari, Khagrachari. The army interrogated and harassed him and ransacked his home.

Bangladesh army can arbitrarily detain, interrogate and torture any indigenous people in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Bangladesh army require no warrant, suspicion is enough to harass the indigenous people. Bangladesh army is driving out indigenous Buddhist, Hindu and Christian tribes from Chittagong Hill Tracts and settling Muslim settlers from plain land in their villages. Their aim is to Islamize Chittagong Hill Tracts by terror.
