Bengali settlers attempt to rape 2 indigenous girls in Longadu

On 15 October 2014, at noon 3 Muslim setters attempted to rape 2 indigenous girls in Bagachator union of Longadu. Both girls are around 15 years old and from Chiberega village under Bagachator union.

On that day, they were returning together from school after the examination. On their way home at around 1:30 pm, when they arrived in a lonely place suddenly 3 Muslim settlers blockaded their way and wanted to take them to nearby jungle by force. At that stage the girls exclaimed loudly and an indigenous youth who was also returning home behind the girls rushed the spot and the culprits fled away.

3 Muslim settlers were identified as-

1. Farhad (19) son of Sirajul Islam
2. Mohammad Yusuf (20) son of Mohammad Hanif Farid
3. Habib (20) son of Mohammad Sundar Ali of Marisyachara, Bagachatar Union
