Bangladesh army backed KNF torture an indigenous man in Ruma

On 9 March 2024 at around 8 am, Bangladesh army backed Kuki-Chin National Front terrorists beat an indigenous man at Bogalake area in Ruma, Bandarban district. The victim is:

  1. Singmongu Marma (38) of Palika Para, Ruma.

The victim went to work at Jum farm some distance away from his house, as he does daily. On the way around 8 am, he suddenly encountered an armed group of 7 KNF terrorists in the middle of a hill and a stream on Palika Para before Sat Kilo on Bogalake road. He was carrying five kilograms of rice for their use in their Jum house.

The KNF terrorists stopped him and asked various questions- ‘What is your name? Where are you going? Where are you taking the rice? Are you taking the rice to the Shanti Bahini?’

At one point, the KNF terrorists slapped, and severely beat him. They hit him on cheek and face.
