Cats
Our barn cats are more like our babies. They are spoiled rotten! We started out with 3. We lost a few and gained a few, stayed steady at 5 for quite a while now we just adopted two more from Story County Animal Shelter to make a total of seven!
:Here are the original 3 kittens: Captain, Morgan, and Milo. They were from a litter of 4, but their sister died. They were found along side of the road after their mother was hit by a car and we adopted them from the Story County Animal Shelter.
This is Captain (L) and Morgan (R) before we decided to adopt their brother, the future Milo. They are only about 2 weeks old in this picture and still at the shelter.

Just because I got stepped on by a horse and had to have surgery does NOT mean I can't go outside hunting! (Milo)

I think this is one of our last pictures of Morgan. She was hit by a car in front of the barn at 6 months of age. We will never forget her.
