I wanted to say

STAYING AWAKE IN THE ENDTIMES

If you have made this very important and wise decision (the only that really matters), give your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, to Him who is "the way and the truth and the life"(John 14:6), to whom is "...Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Is.9:6), congratulations, God bless you, brother, but we are living now endtimes, and we have to stay awake "So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be alert and self-controlled."(1.Tes.5:6)

A believer can't have other source of teaching but the Word of God, "The Bible", in that word that is "flawless" (Ps.18:30) we put all our trust. My Bible is New International Version which is probably the best phrase-for-phrase translation available today, I realize that a real word-for-word translation would be the only justified version, like King James or New American Standard but as I am a foreigner I understand that better so excuse me.
With hand in your heart, Do you read Bible every day? "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night."(Ps.1)

To begin, who says to be a christian or believer is not (eg. George W. Bush), but he who makes God's will and obeys God's commandments (Ex.20), which are:

You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol... You shall not bow down to them or worship them... Worship Maria, "the saints", VICARIVS FILII DEI = 666 (pope) or idols of any type is breaking this commandment and an absolute abomination for Lord.

You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God. eg. The holy name of the Lord cannot be in any case a swearword (this can be heard too often nowadays, for example the systematical blasphemy campaign of the Hollywood studios are using this. Read more .)

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Attention! not whatever day but the 7. day which is saturday = since the sunset of friday until the sunset of saturday. We don't have to accept the sunday-lie installed by the great prostitute, the catholic church, but obey God's commandments and keep the Sabbath holy. Read more here.

Honor your father and your mother. Don't abandon you mother of father in an asylum when she/he is old like many people of this world do nowadays.

You shall not murder. Abortion is a cruel murder.

You shall not commit adultery. Brother, don't you live in concubinage or have prematrimonial or extramatrimonial relations? Those are sin of adultery and abomination for Lord!

You shall not steal. According to the Bible 10% of your income belongs to God. If you are Lord's, you don't steal from Him neither. "You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me. "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."(Mal.3:9)

You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

You shall not covet your neighbor.
(Mt.22:37) According to Jesus the first and greatest commandment is

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind, and the second is like it:

Love your neighbor as yourself.

"Whoever believes and is baptized, will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."(Mr.16:16) Are you baptized?! (with the adult baptism by full immersion, baptizing of infants is not biblical) It is true that the salvation doesn't depend of it and neither it guarantees it, but it is Jesus' commandment. When finishing his worldly mission Christ gave a commandment for his disciples: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Mt. 28:19-20).

In this commandment Christ showed clearly that He required baptizing of those, who wanted to join in his church, in his spiritual kingdom. When the Holy Spirit took people to repentance and to receive Jesus as their Saviour, they had to be baptized in the trinitary name of God. The baptism would prove that they had entered in a personal relation with Christ and they had committed themselves to live in harmony with the principles of his kingdom.
If you reject the adult baptism (e.g. catholics) then raises a question "why?" Do you believe the Bible is word of God? Are you really a follower of Christ? Don't forget that Jesus was baptized too (when adult).

Do you congregate? "Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."(He.10:25) Just for that I'm encouraging you now, because THE DAY is approaching.

Do you pray? A believer who doesn't pray is hypocrite. Praying is one of the crucial things in the life of a believer, because by that way we have a closer relation to Father. If we don't pray it's like going to war without a sword, without arms, without protection against the world and we fall more easily in temptations and that move us away from God.
For ex. "Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up..."(Luke.18:1)
"pray continually"(1.Ts.5:17)
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.."(Eph.6:18)
"Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful."(Col.4:2)

Do you worship the Lord? Or are you one of them who sit bored in the bench when others start sing praises and dance for the Lord, who gave us an eternal life?! Don't you know how important is to praise, it is christian's way of life, fruit of Holy Spirit and before all God's will, look for example PSALM 150.
Gratitude, worship and adoration belong to a prayer!

Do you listen to rock music or christian rock music? (in the same category goes all dance, techno, trance, jazz, blues etc. worldly music) If you listen, why? Didn't you know it's from world (=devil)? Look for example here or here. How can you be at the same time in the world and in Jesus Christ? The Word says "You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God." (James 4:4) and "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world the lust of the flesh, the lust of his eyes and the boastful pride of life, comes not from the Father but from the world."(1.John 2:15, part NSAB)

What is "the lust of the flesh" if not sex, violence, alcohol etc. Gal:5:19-21 lists like the acts of the sinful nature these: "sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like."
What is "the lust of his eyes " if not movies, richness like jewels etc., mode, porno, precious art, etc.
What is "the boastful pride of life" if not good car, luxurious home, summer resort, pleasure travel, status, mode, money in the bank, honour and fame, first line in the premiere of opera, painting of Picasso in the wall, politics and red carpets, having your name in the front page of a newspaper and all kind of luxury.

Do you think that it's totally innocent to see worldly motion pictures and television series? Didn't you know that all the Hollywood studios and almost all communication companies are in control of "masons" (etc.) and that way in the control of lluminati? (Aqui tambien un artículo interesante) They attack intentionally against word of God and found a base for the coming of antichrist and new world order. You maybe say that "movies don't affect me", how you know it? The devil is all the time looking for a way to destroy you and in many cases the damage is noticed in the long run without that you never noticed it.

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms."(Eph.6:12)

Also raises a question, how can you enjoy movies full of violence and immoralities, made by enemies of God? Would Jesus enjoy them?!
Do you have a television? Can you completely control what you see from tv, or that controls you, damages you spiritually and steal you the time that should be dedicated for the Lord, for praying and investigating the word? If you really believe, then let God occupy the first place in your life. Television, internet, games etc. can become something addictive and harmful for you spriritual life and we have to leave without fear everything that is not from God.
Jesus says: "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life."(Luke 18:29) Now it is needed faith, brothers. The Lord our Saviour returns soon and... ... "will he find (real) faith on the earth?" (Lk.18:8) If not, you remember He "spits you out of His mouth"?(Rev.3:16)

God's will is that we would live a holy life, deny ourselves "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires."(Ga.5:24) Being unfaithfuls for our Lord we lose the presence of God's glory and this: "Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."(John 7:38) What is it that we are afraid of losing?! The Lord has all the power in the heaven and in the earth "...and appointed you to go and bear fruit — fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."(Jn.15:16) If the fruit of our faith would last, all this would be possible!
Have you let the Spirit give these fruits:
If you have reborn, in you lives the Holy Spirit, but do you give fruit? We know that "...the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."(Ga.5:22) If your acts speak other thing, wouldn't it be time to repent?

We should not forget that our righteous acts are "like filthy rags"(Is.64:6) for God, we can get closer to Him only in the Spirit and He asks us only faith and humbleness. Jesus says: "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."(Mt.11:29)

I am not any preacher, but just one brother more in Jesus Christ who is as well himself "fighting the good fight of the faith." I'd just like to exhort you like Paul did:

"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. "(Rom.12:1)

In the Bible there is hidden heavenly wisdom, out of this world, bigger than whole universe, that by Holy Spirit is revealed for them who want to listen. Until now I've just had a little taste of this amazing power and love and it is something wonderful, like is He whos KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS, who reveals us the mysteries hidden for long ages past.(Ro.16:25)
All the glory, majesty, power and authority for Him, now and forevermore! Amen.
