Thelma Eye
PEKIN -- Thelma Vivian Eye, 80, of 1520 El Camino Drive, died at 9:45 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at Pekin Manor. She was formerly of Radcliff, Ky.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene. The Rev. Greg Mason will officiate. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel, is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin.
She was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Lewistown to Alfred and Irene Luticia Hammer Gray. She married Lowell D. Eye on Feb. 24, 1940, in Fort Madison, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 17, 2002, in Radcliff; one brother and three sisters.
Surviving are one son, Dennis R. (Diane) Eye of Pekin; one daughter, Judy K. Lowery of Grants Pass, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Letha (Charles) Maskel of Pekin.
Eye had worked as a secretary at First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin for 10 years, where she also served as the organist and pianist. She also had taught piano for many years.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Radcliff.
She was a former member of First Church of the Nazarene in Pekin. She had been a Sunday school teacher and was a member of the Nazarene World Missionary Society.
