Tammy "Sunny" Sytch, attended Wellesley College in Massachusetts where she majored in pre-law. An admirer of First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, Tammy tried to get into the wrestling business in early 1993. When Smoky Mountain refused to hire her, she threatened to sue them for sexual discrimination. (Which was apparent since SMW had no female employees). Tracy Smothers, Tim Horner, and several other wrestlers all turned her down when she offered her services. Within the next month, Brian Lee turned on his friend Tracy Smothers and decide to let Tammy manage his career. Sytch led Lee to the SMW heavyweight title on July 17, 1993, when he defeated Tracy Smothers. Of course, Sytch did have some influence in the outcome when she handed Lee a coal miner's glove. This immediately hurled Tammy Sytch into the spotlight. She had become one of the most hated women in wrestling. Tammy continually interfered in matches between Lee and Smothers. At one point, Smothers had the nerve to spank her for doing so!
In the Fall of 1993, Ron Wright placed a $25,000 bounty on Smothers. Lee and Dirty White Boy Tony Anthony attacked Smothers after a match, injuring his knee. Both men felt they should be awarded the bounty but Wright awarded it to Lee. Sytch and Lee then kidnapped Wright and denied him his medication. When DWB tried to help Wright, Lee attacked both men, setting up a new feud. DWB soon called in his long time cohort The Dirty White Girl Kimberly. Anthony wrestled Lee for the SMW title with the stipulation that if he won, Kimberly would get Tammy in the ring for five minutes. Anthony won by DQ, but Lee knocked out DWG before the match against Tammy could begin. On February 13, 1994, Lee was defeated by Anthony in a Tennessee chain match in Knoxville. Wright interfered in the match helping Anthony to win. (Knowing that he would not be able to win without the extra help.) Brian and Tammy signed for a series of mixed tag matches against the "Dirty Whites". Most of the matches were dominated by the "Dirty Whites". In April 1994, in Pikeville, Kentucky, Lee and Anthony had a back alley brawl. During this match Kimberly chased Tammy under the ring and stripped her. Luckily, Candido was near by and saved Sytch by wrapping a blanket around her.
Sytch soon put Lee and Candido together to form a team. In May 1994, they won the SMW tag belts from the Rock N Roll Express. These belts changed hands three times within four days, in August of that year. After the Rock N Rolls lost the second time, Sytch was supposed to shave Morton's head. As usual, a brawl broke out and Candido ended up with his head shaved instead. Candido and Lee lost the belts for the final time on August 8. After the match Sytch fired Lee for his horrible performance. Candido, now wearing headgear to cover his head, brought in his childhood pal Boo Bradley. Sytch took a liking to leading Boo around by a leash. Cactus Jack soon arrived to rescue Bradley.
Tammy Lynn Sytch soon arrived in the WWF as a commentator at the Live Event News desk. Soon Tammy brought in Chris. Now, using the names Skip and Sunny, the BodyDonnas drew an amazing amount of heat from the crowd. Sunny's incredible mic work could not be touched.
Sunny managed Skip and Zip, the BodyDonnas, to the tag team championship. However, when the BodyDonnas lost the titles to the Godwins, Sunny moved on to manage the Godwins (she suckered Phinneas into signing a contract that gave her managerial rights). She went from them to the Smoking Gunns, during their title reign. After breaking up with the Smoking Gunns, Sunny managed Faarooq during the IC Title tournament. She parted ways with Faarooq as well.
Sunny soon seemed to get lost in the shuffle. She was the cohost of Shotgun Saturday Night and LiveWire, she got her own (short lived) interview segment. At one time she was even the most downloaded personality on the internet! Finally, she was teamed with LOD 2000. Unfortunately, that seemed to be a flop before they even debuted.
Sunny made her way to ECW, where she announced after the Heatwave 98 PPV that she had quit the WWF and that Tammy Sytch would now be with ECW full time. Chris and Tammy would finally be together again. Tammy has appeared both at the side of Chris as well as in the ring with him, against Lance Storm and Tammy Lynn Bytch. During their well-documented drug problems, Tammy and Chris were unable to participate in ECW shows, and have been grateful that Paul Heyman always paid them in their absence. They are grateful to Paul, but can clearly jump at a chance to work for one of the big two. Despite all of this, Tammy continues to be one of the most popular women in sports entertainment, and rightly so.
