Section SR-6 South

Section SR-6 South is a subdivision of the Order of the Arrow that covers north Georgia as well as parts of Alabama and Tennessee. SR-6 South is run by a steering committee called the Council of Chiefs and 3 executive officers: Chief, Vice-Chief, and Secretary. Many adult advisers also help to guide the section.

Order of the Arrow


The Order of the Arrow is Scouting's National Honor Society; it is a Brotherhood of Cheerful Service. The Order of the Arrow is a program of the Boy Scouts of America and all members of the OA are registered in Scouting. Youth members are ages 11-20 and are elected from Boy Scout Troops. Adult members are 21 or above and are nominated by their home units. Adult members can be male or female.

What does SR-6 South do?


Section SR-6 South holds two organized events every year: Conclave and Order of the Arrow University. In addition, the section helps to advise and support the lodges that make up the section: Ini-To, Egwa Tawa Dee, Talidandaganu', Mowogo, Waguli, and Chattahoochee.
