- i'm alexandra. it's my real name.
- i was born on the 22nd of september in 1981. i'm a typical virgo.
- i was born and raised on long island.
- i've just recently located to portland, oregon. alone.
- i had a happy childhood, i was well behaved and smart. i learned to read and write very early and i could also count to ten in spanish, french, german, and italian. i loved to play with my jem and the hologram dolls, watch sesame street, and sing songs.
- my father died when i was six, and my pre-K teacher told me at church that he was on a trip and would be home soon. how cruel it was to get the hopes of a small child up only to be utterly devistated.
- the next day, a girl named tori fuchs came up to me in school and told me she said a prayer for my father. i want to find tori and thank her.
- my mother, sister (jen), and i cohabitated for four years. then my half-brother, bill, came to live with us after he was in a drunk driving accident. he was the drunk driver.
- bill would give me noogies, bruises, and (a few years later) cigarettes. bill used to be in the navy. he moved out, dramatically, to live with his two kids and girlfriend (now wife). i haven't spoken to him in four or five years. he is 33.
- i also have a half-sister (michelle) who put herself in foster care when she was 16. i remember being three and watching out my window as she got into a white sports car. i didn't see her again for thirteen years. two years ago, she called and wanted to see jen and me. she has two beautiful children, victoria and nicholas. she lives in wisconsin. unknowingly, i was in my high school drama club with her husband's brother. when my father died, no one told michelle until six months later. michelle is 30.
- jen and i never got along growing up. before i moved we hung out a lot, and now that i am gone i absolutely adore her.
- i dabbled in a lot of things growning up: horseback riding, dance, gymnastics, music lessons. i never found my knack, but i enjoyed horseback riding the most.
- when i misbehaved as a child, my mother would threaten to 'send me off with the gypsies.' it scared me at the time, but now i think it would be cool.
- the only extended family i have left is my aunt helen and two cousins (kim and gil).
- i am a cat person.
- i am a political science major at portland state university.
- i'm going to go to law school even though i know i don't want to be a lawyer. what else can i do with a degree in political science and no marketable skills?
- i'm a democrat, quite liberal, and pro-choice.
