Willow sighed, staring out her bedroom window. Damn her father's birthday. Damn her parents in general. Their idea of celebrating was going out to a movie Willow had already seen and leaving her home alone. One catch: She wasn't allowed to have anyone over, or go out.

Again, she sighed. She and Oz had toyed with the idea of him sneaking over, but that was just too risky. They could easily lose track of time. They often did, and the last thing they wanted was for her parents to catch them in bed. After all, he wasn't even technically supposed to be in her room. It'd be the biggest double whammy in the history of the world.

"Nothing to do, nothing to do." She mumbled, so bored that she didn't even care she was talking to herself. She started throwing her pillow up and down in the air, and catching it. Then she arranged the pillows in a new order. Then she decided to organize her bedside table's drawer. Finally, she got up, grabbed her laptop, and turned it on, settling onto her bed. If she couldn't see Oz, atleast she could get some quality wicca-time in.

The familiar sound of her modem's annoying dial tone rang through her ears as she stared out her window one final time, willing Oz to come up and end her boredom. It didn't happen.

Once she was connected, she quickly checked her e-mail. She smiled tenderly as she recognized Oz's e-mail address in her inbox. She clicked on it immediatly, and saw that he'd sent her some kind of online greeting card. She went to retrieve it, and laughed when it loaded. A circus monkey, dancing back and forth with an insane smile on it's face. Above, in a colorful and funky font, was written: Thinking of You. Below, a small message from her boyfriend:

Took a guess, thought you might be online tonight. Just wanted you to know I miss you. Love, Oz.

She grinned, feeling a bit flushed, and then went to reply to him. Her fingers flew across her keyboard as she typed a message:

Oz--

If my neighbors don't have me committed for sitting up in my room and laughing at a computer, then I can't wait to see you, so I can show you how much I miss you too. And you can take that anyway you'd like to :-)

Love, Willow.

Once she'd sent the e-mail, she settled into web surfing. It was relaxing, but she couldn't help thinking about that silly card Oz had sent her. He was so unique, and she loved it.

A few minutes later, her computer informed her that she'd recieved more mail. Hoping it was from her boyfriend, Willow rushed to check. Sure enough, Oz had replied:

Willow--

See, now I'm excessively interested. If that's the case, I'm very tempted to come steal you away and replace you with a Willow-shaped doll.

Love, Oz.

She grinned, and thought for a moment before replying once more:

Oz--

Good to know I've got what it takes to hold your attention. I doubt they'd even notice if we replaced me with a life-sized Ginger Spice doll. It's worth a shot.

Love, Willow.

Three minutes later, he'd replied yet again:

Willow--

Sounds like a plan. I'll be there in 20 minutes.

Love, Oz.

She sighed happily, leaning back in her computer chair and wondering if he really meant it. Then, suddenly, an Instant Message appeared on her screen. It was from Oz.

DingoOz: You know I love you, right?

Willow felt herself get a bit dizzy with happiness as she rushed to reply.

WiccanGirl: Of course I do, and you know the feeling is mutual.
DingoOz: Of course... Do you think we could pull a Ferris Bueller and rig up some high-tech equiptment so that a recording of you snoring will go off if your parents come upstairs?

Willow laughed.

WiccanGirl: You know that's a mouthful for you... and yeah, that might work, but why don't I just sneak out? I'm feeling rebellious, and they know I don't even have to live with them anymore. I doubt they'd mind too much. I could tell them I was helping Buffy.

Oz didn't reply for a moment.

DingoOz: You'd do that for me?

Willow smiled.

WiccanGirl: Of course. But I'm expecting some kind of a nice thank you once I get there.
DingoOz: I have something in mind.

Willow grinned, typed out a goodbye, and then shut off her computer and grabbed a sweater, some holy water and a stake. She wondered if vampires would kill girls with silly grins on their faces, as she slipped out into the darkness of the night.
