"Hey Buffy..." Willow said when she came to sit down at their table.
"Hi Willow...whats been cooking. I saw Giles today and he didn't look
to happy."
"Another prophecy...he thinks you are going to die..." Willow said.
"Don't worry though...I put a protection spell on you so you won't have
to worry." Willow said assuringly. Just then Oz came over and sat with
them on the bench.
"Oz!!!" Willow said cheerfully. "Where were you today, I was looking
all over for you." Willow asked.
"I was out looking for a birthday present for you. No I'm not going to
tell you what it is." Oz finished quickly before any further comments.
"But, its my birthday present, and you told me you would do anything I
wanted for my birthday." Willow wined. *I hate it when he makes me
wait.*
"Well its called a surprise so I'm not supposed to let you see it until
tomorrow." Oz said leaning forward and giving Willow a soft gentle kiss
on the lips. Willow returned it sweetly.
"I can wait." Willow sighed. Half because he was making her wait and
half because he was pulling her into his lap. Well Oz was just present
enough for her. He would last a life time. She was so happy. She and Oz
had graduated 3 years ago next month. Unfortunately Oz stuck with the
Dingo's and he was unable to attend college on a regular daily basis,
until now. The Dingo's had broken up and Oz was going to attend college
in Arizona. Yes it was a long way from Sunnydale but he promised Willow
he would be back every weekend. And a promise was a promise. "I'm so
happy for you. You finally get to go to college." Willow said in a
giddy tone. Oz was nipping at her neck at the time. Even though Buffy
was all for Willow being happy, there was only so much she could take.
"Willow...I'm going to go see about this prophecy Giles is getting so
worked up about."
"Ok Buffy...Are you going to the Bronze tonight?" Willow asked.
"I might. Later." Buffy said swinging her heavy bag over her shoulder.
She was suddenly beginning to miss the highschool years. Less studying,
lighter books, what's not to like.
"So...how was your day?" Oz asked Willow. She gave him one of those
funny faces that said...'I just got my assed rat out by a
teacher...you?' kind of looks. Oz took that as a bad thing. "Not very
good huh?" Oz said noticing Willow's shallow eyes when she thought of
school.
"Well. I got my ass chewed out by one of my teachers...3 reports dew
this week...and finals to study for next week. Even with principal
Snyder I still miss highschool." Willow said in a disgruntled tone.
"You have no idea how happy I am to get out of those classes. So what
did you want to do today." Willow asked. Anything to get her mind off
of school.
"Well I was sort of thinking of a Dinner and a Movie night. You said
your parents were out of town so I could just come over by your house
tonight and I don't know...have some fun..." Oz said wiggling his eyes
suggestively. Willow started giggling so his mission was accomplished.
She gave him another one of her sweet smiles, lowered her eye lashes
and kissed him softly on the lips. To anyones knowledge, they could
tell that the couple were madly in love. Aside from the obvious, when
Oz started singing to her from the top of his lungs in the college
cafeteria that he was madly and deeply in love with her. That got him a
big "A+" in Willows book. Oz had his mind set on proposing to her once
she graduated from college. They had been sleeping together for 2 years
next week. He hoped she liked her present.
"Well when did you want to come over?" Willow asked. *Please say right
now...get me out of this place.* Willow thought to herself.
"Well I have nothing to do right now. What about you?" Oz asked.
*Please say nothing. Let me take you out of this place.* He thought to
himself.
"Absolutely nothing." Willow said as she barried her face into the
crevice between his shoulder and neck. He loved it when she did that.
"Did you want to go right now? I bought another video called 'Still
Breathing'. Its got Brandon Frasier in it. I thought you might want to
see it...my aunt said its the best." Note: That movie is one of the
best movies I've seen all year...my advice...watch it!
"Sure...you know I was making a wish in my head hoping that you would
want to go right now. I guess it came true." Willow said happily.
"You took the words right out of my mouth." Oz said helping Willow up
from off of his lap and to her feet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two hours later.
Willow and Oz were settled comfortably on the couch as they watched
'Still Breathing'. Well I wouldn't exactly say they were watching the
movie...just making out while its on. Finally they came up for air. If
Willow's parents ever found out about them, they would throw a fit.
Better yet they would disown their daughter. Oz would have nothing of
it. That was why he only came over when she assured him that they were
out of town. Tonight was one of those nights. No, not one of those
nights where there hormones weren't kept in check...just one of those
nights where they could concentrate all of their thoughts on eachother.
No parents, No slaying, No fullmoon. Everything was perfect and in most
cases that was very rare in Sunnydale. They cuddled even closer as it
started to rain and the thunder gently roared from its place in the
sky. Willow and Oz loved when it started to rain. It always made them
sleepy. As they watched the movie Willow eventually began to drift off
to sleep. Oz watched her roll her knees up on to the couch and place
her head on his chest and rap her arms around his stomach as she fell
asleep. Oz just placed a comforting arm around her shoulder and held
her there and he too fell asleep.

The Airport.
"Damn it Ira what are we going to do? Aunt Pam's wedding is tommarow,
I'm her maid of honor and there is absolutely no way we can book
another plane. We can't rent a car, and there is no way that a taxi
driver will drive all the way over to Manhattan. I don't want to go
back to the house...it always smells with Willow's dog there all the
time, and it is raining." Sheila complained to her husband.
"Honey, calm down. We can always stay here at the airport..." Ira
paused when he saw her angry eyes. "Or maybe a hotel." He finished. At
that she decided to calm down.
"Hotels are fine. Besides we can't call Willow and ask her take us to
Manhattan, so I guess that is what you and I are going to have to do."
Sheila finished. "but if we get stuck with only a 1 bed room your
sleeping on the floor." Sheila said in a threatening voice. Ira could
tell when she was in a bad mood, so he never bothered to question her.
"Yes Sheila. We have been through this a million times...I always let
ladies take the bed." Ira said not realizing his mistake.
"What ladies? I'm the only one your supposed to sleep with!" Sheila
said getting angry.
"Honey, I just meant that I grew up with manners." Ira said getting
frustrated...and exhausted. He loved Sheila to death but she really did
get to him at times.
"Well then. Lets go find a motel." Sheila said leading her husband
outside of the airport.
----------------------------
half an hour later
"You're lucky there are two beds." Sheila said to her husband. He said
nothing. "Ira did you not hear what I said?" Sheila asked.
"I heard you. I just didn't think I would have to respond." Ira said
turning out the light to his nightstand.
"Good night."
"Good night."
"I love you"
"I love you too." Ira said. The couple really did love each other.
Their relationship was always sort of like Xander and Cordelia's.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12 hours later. Sheila and Ira walk back into their house and find
Willow and that boy OZ!!! sleeping together on their couch...this
infuriated Sheila...and Ira. Both parents stayed calm and sat in the
living room until the young couple woke up. Which wasn't long. 30
minutes later Oz woke up and noticed her parents staring at them. Oz's
mouth dropped open and went dry.
*Oh shit...* Oz thought. He gently nudged Willow guiding her from her
dreams to the present. She woke up and noticed her parents staring at
her with disbelief.
*Oh shit...just act cool. It will all blow over before the end of
school...maybe*
"Hi mom...what's wrong?" Willow asked. This didn't look good.
"We'll discuss it later honey. I think you should go up to your room
though. Oz could you please go home. Willow can call you later." Sheila
said.
"That's Ok. mom. I'll just go with Oz." Willow said untangling herself
from Oz's embrace and standing up.
"No honey...you really need to stay." Sheila said in a calm voice.
*I'll see to it that after tonight she never sees him again* Sheila
thought smiling to herself.
"Alright...nice seeing you again Mrs. Rosenberg. You too Mr. Rosenberg.
Have a nice night." He quickly gave Willow a kiss on the cheek and left
the house. Willow looked out at him with sad eyes. She couldn't
understand what her parents hated about him so much.
"Ok. Well, I'll be up in my room and you can talk to me when ever you
want." Willow said pointing her thumb back towards her room.
Willow went upstairs as her parents started whispering back and forth
to each other. Her parents always were quiet people. Why was it that
when she did something good, she never got noticed but when she did
something bad, they made her feel like Clinton. A dirty, cheater who
betrayed everyone he knew and his people. 30 minutes later Ira told her
to come down now. He and her mother wanted to talk to her about
something that looked a lot worse than what she had in mind. The truth
was...it was a lot worse.
