Misundersavings

By Bushwoolie

Authors Note: "Homecoming" never happened! Angel and Buffy are still together and "Graduation Day: Part 2" didn't happen either. This fic is for Karen. She edited and came up with the title and is just awesome!

Xander made his way through the streets of Sunnydale clutching a stake tightly in his right hand. He was on his way to Willow's house. Since it was Friday and her parents were gone for the week the gang had decided to hang at Willow's. Everyone was going to be there except Giles. He had to do research and Cordy had a hair and nail appointment.

Xander pulled back the screen door, and knock on the Rosenberg front door. The knock was followed by silence. He knocked again, nothing. Xander pounded on the door but still no one came. He twisted the door knob and it opened easily. Cautiously, he entered the house stake in hand. That's when he heard it. Willow was screaming like someone was trying to kill her, and so was Buffy! He couldn't hear what they were saying but it sounded like cursing. Xander bounded the stairs and gripped his stake. His hand was on the knob, when the door flew open.

"Xander, hey! Hi!" Willow greeted him loudly. Whatcha doin' here?!"

"I was supposed to come here to hang. Remember?" Xander Asked claiming down now that he saw there wasn't any trouble.

"Oh, yeah, right. I remember." she lied and smiled at him.

Suddenly Buffy appeared behind the door. "I never knew being covered in blood could be so much fun, Will. Xander, hi!"

Xander's face took on a look of confusion. "Wait, you were covered in blood and it was fun?!" he asked. "Care to explain."

"Will and I did a sweep through the cemetary. Ran into a vamp. Had to kill it. Wasn't pretty." Buffy said matter of factly.

"so you were covered in blood. What happened to it?"

"I helped get it off." Angel said appearing behind Buffy.

"What about Willow, was she covered in blood?"

"Xander don't be silly I was covered in-"

Oz came out of the room licking his lips and said "Chocolate."
