It is often said that you can tell who a man is by what he loves. Kenny Gill love the Good Lord, his family and Jimmie Davis.
Gill was first inspired to play the guitar as a young boy in Bukie while listening to Gov. Davis speak and sing at the old train depot platform in 1943. He has been hooked on music and Jimmie Davis since.
Gill has since moved to Nashville, Tenn., the center of the Country Music business, and is regarded as one of the nation's premier guitar players.
