10) Miaka and Yui get sucked into the book world.

This is a classic. I couldn't make this page without including this scene. Yui and Miaka go to the national library to return a book, and stumble upon "The Universe of the Four Gods" and get sucked into it. Grr.... it's not fair... why can't that happen in real life?

9) Miaka's encounter with Hotohori

I think everyone knows what I'm talking about. When she discovers he's a guy.... eek thank Suzaku Tamahome was there to stop her from going any further!

8) Tamahome accuses Miaka of being a monster

Tamahome and Miaka have gotten themselves into yet another crisis. They are imprisoned by order of the emperor and Miaka gets hungry... surprise surprise... so she takes some gum out of her pocket and starts to chew it. The guard asks her what she put in her mouth, and she blows a bubble to show him. The bubble pops, sticking all over her face, and the guard runs away, terrified. Tamahome takes one look at Miaka and goes SD screaming that she is a monster. -.-

7) Miaka proves that she's not so stupid after all

Taiitsu-kun sends the reflection of Miaka out of a mirror, trapping the real Miaka inside, to test her strength. The "evil Miaka" was killing Hotohori and Tamahome, and Miaka stabbed that jagged plate shard into her chest in order to kill the demon.

6) Nuriko pretends to be in love with Tamahome in order to spark jealousy

After saving Miaka and Tamahome's lives, Nuriko says that "she" (heh) was only after Tamahome, and she kisses him, making Miaka very angry. Nuriko winds up Tamahome like a mummy and makes him her prisoner of love. Tamahome bursts into Miaka's room while she is getting changed to hide from Nuriko.

5) Miaka discovers the truth about Nuriko

When Miaka over-enthusiastically thanks Nuriko for patching things up between her and Tamahome, Nuriko's collar slips down only to reveal - nothing?!

4) Miaka comforts Tamahome

After the evil Tamahome breaks Miaka's arm, beats up Tasuki, nearly kills Hotohori, and is returned to his real self, his is disgusted at what he did. Miaka tries to comfort him, cheerfully saying that it didn't matter that he broke her arm, beat up Tasuki and taking a sword up against the emperor. Tamahome goes SD (yes... AGAIN) because he is so disgusted at his actions.

3) Shouka tries to kill Miaka in her sleep.

Miaka is deathly ill with the Shikkonki virus, and Shouka explains that the only way to cure her is to kill her and then bring her back to life. Hotohori tries to kill Miaka in order to heal her, but he can't bring himself to do it. Shouka sneaks into Miaka's room while she's asleep and tries to kill her, but Miaka always seems to sit up or roll over just in time to dodge the sword... in her SLEEP.

When Chichiri is introduced into the story, he seems very strange to the Suzaku Seishi... Shrinking to the size of a midget, disappearing into his hat, and breaking ropes without even touching them. Nuriko says whispers that he's "sort of weird" and Chichiri replies, "Better weird than gay"

Tamahome, Miaka, and Nuriko are in the woods after Miaka has returned to the book world, and Tamahome is with a bunch of people. He introduces them in the following way:

Tamahome: This is Miaka, the Priestess of Suzaku

((oohs and ahs from the people))

Tamahome: ::points to Nuriko:: and he's some gay guy.
