IT ROCKED!!!! I loved the BSB Concert I went to. I'll give you some highlights, and, for people who are going to a concert, some very handy tips. But first, some specifics.
Opening Act: EYC, or Express Yourself Clearly. One guy kept on taking his shirt off--- it kinda got old. The music was pretty good.
The stage was in the middle, shaped like a pentagon, so your side will have a certain Backstreet Boy. It'll change though, cause sometimes we had Howie, sometimes AJ, and sometimes Nick.
It took F-O-R-E-V-E-R for the boys to get on stage after the opening act. It took about 45 minutes.
Some Highlights
The boys came out on "floating" boards and "flew" above the floor audience. (I should mention I had horrible seats- 2nd tier)
In the middle of I'll Never Break Your Heart, the boys sat down and hooked themselves up to some cords, then flew up with flowers in their hands. They threw flowers to the people in the floor and 1st tier. My side had Howie and he was doing all these flips. It was cool. Oh, and when he was back on the ground, he did the sign of the cross and kissed it up to God. I guess he's glad he didn't fall! It was cute.
In the encore, they introduced the BSB Band and the dancers. You know how Christine (AJ's girlfriend) is a dancer, well AJ made us scream for her. I didn't because I just don't scream for somebody I'm jealous of. I don't hate her, don't get the wrong impression, I just want to BE her.
When they were introducing the band, there's only 1 female member. And, of course, AJ introduced her (you know, his ladies' man image?) and this girl does A LOT. She plays the keyboard, the saxophone, and the drums. I like her- she's cool. Well, anyway, she was playing a little sax solo and walking around on stage and AJ was walking with her, and he did this sick thing that's hard to explain (I should mention his shirt was open). He got down on his knees and bent all the way back, and took his shirt off. FOR THE GIRL!!! (I totally forget her name) I said to my best friend, "Dude, your girlfriend's right there! Get a room!". Really though, I love AJ and all, but, hello?
Nick was funny. During Get Down, he did just that-- got down. He laid in the middle of the stage, but don't they mean dancing? LOL
If You're Going To A Concert...
If the stadium doesn't have an underground hall, you'll see a black tube kind of hall. There's an open corner. Keep watching it. You can see the boys before the concert.
Stand up. All concerts are more fun if you stand up. Sit during the slow songs though, because you don't move around.
If you love screaming, during a kind of- softer part- during the screaming (not the song, the screaming) scream at the top of your lungs "I LOVE YOU ______" Fill in the blank with your favorite boy, or, if you don't have one, BSB! If you have people with you, get them to scream it too.
That's about it! If you REALLY want to go to a concert but don't have tickets, you CAN get them, but for outrageous prices. Go to ebay or soldout.com.
