My family began our involvement with Compassion International in 1994. We began to sponsor our first child, Maria Chambi at that time. Unfortunately, Maria's family moved away from the Compassion sponsorship area and we lost contact with her. In 1999 we began sponsoring a little boy from India, Arun Francis. Arun's family also moved away so we lost contact with him as well. Both of these kids were very special to us.

One of the great things about Compassion is, that through the letters you receive from the children, you know that the money is being put to use and they are receiving the help that they need.
