OUR MEETINGS & OUR WORSHIP.

"New Covenant Gospel Music & Ministry"

The music & ministry of Donald B. Sanders

Why we do what we do . . . scriptural freedom in ministry & worship

What you may find in a typical "New Covenant" Meeting

Every meeting is different. We have no standard, pre-set agenda, as such; just a general freedom or 'liberty in the Holy Spirit' in what songs we do, and how we minister. In the times when we do have a pre-set order-of-service, - we may change the meeting as we go along, as we feel the freedom/ the unction/ of the Holy Spirit. We may start with fast songs, we may start with slow songs; we may start with a short message or word of testimony, or we may start with music and no singing; we will involve the people from time-to-time, though not predictably so. But, always we invite the Holy Spirit to lead us as we minister; for Him to bless, and to heal, and to touch peoples' lives in a fresh, new way. And always our meetings will be full of:
1. Music and songs to celebrate and worship our great GOD in all of His Fullness (a. Father/ Creator; b. Son / Jesus Christ / our Savior/ King of Kings/ Lord of Lords/; and c. Holy Spirit / our Comforter / and Holy Ghost power);
2. Short messages and personal testimony, interwoven with the music; and
3. Always we will invite people, young and old alike, to respond to the message of 'Good News'.
Also, during the course of our meeting, you may see many of us doing Scripturally-based actions, such as:

- Raising our hands: 1 Tim 2:8; Psa 134:2; Psa 143:6

- Clapping our hands: Psa 47:1; Isa 55:12

- Shouting unto the Lord: Heb 5:7; Psa 47:1; Psa 5:11

- Singing unto the Lord: Psa 33:2; Eph 5:19; Rom 15:9

- Prophesying: Jer 1:5, 9; 1 Cor 14:3; Act 11: 27-28

- Dancing before the Lord: Psa 150:4; Ecc 3:4; 2 Sam 6:14; Luk 6:2

- Lifting our voices together: Act 4:24, 31; Mat 21:9; Ezr 3:11-13

- Speaking in an unknown tongue and interpreting: 1 Cor 12: 7, 10; 1 Cor 14:13, 21

- Laying hands on people when we pray for them: Mat 8:1-3; Mrk 16:18; Act 9:12, 17-18; Heb 6:2

- Anointing with oil when we pray for people: Jas 5:13,14

This is a work of faith. We are 'walking on water.'

We do not go forth under the sponsorship of any denomination or church.

Our ministry anointing comes from God, not from denomination: 1Jhn 2: 20, 27.

We are here because we believe that God has called us
to minister to the needs of people - however, wherever, whenever.

We are: Inter-denominational/ Evangelical/ Charismatic/ Renewal-minded;

we are also sensitive to the leadership of churches where we minister.
