subdivision issues

basically, this is just a small article on what is subdivision. for more details, the user is directed to caltech's graphics web site.

i purposely tilted the camera in the high level shot, because the jump from mid to high is not that impressive in this model.

Usually when you have a model go from 250,000 faces to 450,000 faces, the difference is only in the "Details".
The basic shape of the model has already been created and tesselating it further, increases detail and gives the model a smoother look.

On the other hand, taking the jump from the low-level to mid-level is much more apparent on the topology of the surface.
