but, a lot of people "thought" and where "told" that the raven demo (the one with the chick and robot) was in "real-time".
this is Completly False.

from day one, after seeing it (screenshot) i knew it was a phony.
i'm suprised at some of the developers that where fooled by it, even some of the "supporters" of the demo are going to have a hard time realizing they where advoating a "fake/phony".

the shadows are way too smooth (even for xbox hardware), i can't see a single "edge" on the models, and other things which "should have been artifacts" where not apparent.

i have told many people this (at the mall, in irc, at the arcades, food court, school, family, friends) , but they did not believe me.

heh.

well just recently there was an interivew done with someone on the xbox team, and he "casually" admits that it was prerendered.

it's funny, cause MS was the one that started this (it's "real time"  ;)
who knows what other kinds of "rumors" they are cooking up.
