No time to feel
no heart left to hurt
this empty shell thatīs all there is
functioning only because it knows how
life may not be living or living may not be life
the brief time in between birth and death
may not be quite what we expect...so just except
reaching into the inner part of self where suffering stops
and the emptiness turns to knowing and understanding
a deep maroon
a surrender of your emptiness follows on just being there
and knowing where
the inner self, the you, this pain that is felt cannot touch you
