Love

What Love Can Be
By: Sweet Garllie R. Tappan

Love shows itself in the art of caring,
In generous giving, in unselfish caring,
In just being there when it means very much
With a comforting smile, an affectionate touch.

Love has its own way of looking and seeing,
Its own gentle manner, its own special being.
It lasts and supports us through problems and sorrow,
Its something you know we can count on tomorrow.

How rich we are, how safe, how secure,
When we have love that will endure.

You Tell Me
By: Roxanne L. Castillo

You tell me you love me,
And for me you'll die.
You tell me I'm pretty,
And say it was no lie.

You tell me you're sorry,
And plead for forgiveness.
You tell me you need me,
And say I fill your emptiness.

You tell me you'll comfort me,
When I need a shoulder.
You tell me you'll care for me,
Until life is over.

You tell me you'll miss me,
Every time I'm away.
You tell me you'll be there for me,
And say you'll always stay.

Then I tell you 'Please Wait!'
You replied by saying 'It might be too late!'
With that answer I instantly knew,
You were history then and there's nothing you can do.

My Love
By: Lei Marie E. Macaya

I don't know what's in you,
That my heart desires,
But I know that I love you,
and you're the guy my mind admires.

My love that's true,
That shows a clue.
My love that holds,
Although we weren't close.

My love that stayed the same,
And forever tame.
My love that will stay,
And will never fade away.

I Thought It Was You
By: Roxanne L. Castillo

You used to call me everyday,
"What's up?", you'd always say.
Those calls I loved and made me glad,
Which I really needed everytime I'm sad.

Only through the phone did we have the chance to talk,
For outside the public, there were lots of folk.
Seldom times do we have to mingle with ease,
Because some people did nothing but tease.

There were great times that we shared together,
Then suddenly I knew we were getting closer.
You'd always make me laugh with your jolly personality,
Which made me realize that having you is very lucky.

I noticed that in laughter and in tears you were there,
And thought that you were someone who'd really care.
I felt so blessed to have you right here,
And finally knew you as someone very dear.

But then a day came when I wasn't feeling well,
And I definitely needed a person with something to tell.
I heard a loud ring and ran to the phone,
Wishing it was you to show the comfort you've shown.

So quickly I grabbed it and said 'hello'.
But a dark cloud settled cause it wasn't you, oh no!
Things got worse than my disturbing cough,
Feeling something harsh with nothing as tough.

I patiently sat and waited by the phone,
Hoping you'd call to vanish my groan.
Still it was silent and the phone wasn't ringing,
And instantly I knew my tears started falling.

I thought it was you who my heart always wanted,
After all I was wrong and it was mistakenly stated.
I thought you were someone special I got,
I really thought it was you, but I guess it's not.

As A Friend
By: Lei Marie E. Macaya

As a friend he is special to me,
For I know friends are we ever could be.

I feel he is shy,
And I can't conclude why.
I don't know why he is acting so strange,
I am surprised that he had suddenly change.

It was too late,
For you to be my soul mate,
For this feelings of mine,
Wasn't in the right time.

Still Hoping
By: Lei Marie E. Macaya

I'm still hoping that he will come back,
Even though my love was lost out of track.

I'm still hoping,
Even though he's missing.
My love that's true,
That turns out blue.

I'm still hoping that someday,
He'll come back and stay.

Friendship

For A Friend
By: Sweet Garllie R. Tappan

For words you speak so tenderly,
For every thought you have of me,
For every happy time we share,
For every glance that says 'I care'.
For all the things that mean so much
Your warmth, your laugh, your gentle touch.
You smile that gives my heart a thrill,
I love you, and I always will.

'Friendship'
By: Lei Marie E. Macaya

This friendship where I belong,
Started in those two persons whom I knew.
Because of them this little friendship grew and became a big crew.

This bunch of crew made a friendship,
Which turned to a strong and nice relationship.
Sometimes, they do fight with each other.
But after that you'll find them close to one another.

Well, that's the way their friendship goes.
Lots of trials and hardships, but still they are close.
For they believe they will remain together,
And their friendship will stay long and forever.
