Born: October 25, 1962, St. Paul, Minnesota *Was about eight years old when he took his first drum lesson

*His first drum kit was a pile of giant round ice-cream cartons of which his father stole for him from behind the local Baskin Robbins; second kit was a K-Mart kit, "real cheesy"

*Graduated from Bloomfield Hill's Lasher High School in 1980
*First band was Toby Redd
*puts on many drum clinics, has a drum video out
*Basketball fan (Detroit Pistons), Hockey fan (Detroit Red Wings)
*Chad got married to Maria ( Maria and Chad have gotten divorced)
*They had a baby girl (Manon St. John) on March 3, 1997
*On a video interview he mentioned that he had gotten a new BIG tattoo on the inside of his arm -His son(s?) and daughter's initials. We are not sure if it was son or sons.
