It looks I'm going to spend more time in front of the tv in the near future. Dawson's Creek is on again. This show is to be described best as overly romantic, quasi-philosophical, heavenly unrealistic and near inexcusable soppy.
I love it.
And isn't Katie Holmes one of the most adorable creatures you've ever seen?

Soaps are a mad invention.
I sometimes fear their influence. And look who's talking... *I* watch them. Eagerly.
There is something childish about getting caught up in a made up world like the one in Dawson's Creek and about any other soap I can think of. I mean, we all know we are given a totally fake image and still we secretely believe and, in the best case, hope love will happen to us in a similar way. Infact I think that is what makes soap operas and serials so attractive. No attire without fantasy, no glamour in real life. It's like dreams. Only these dreams come to you at daylight, and after you have turned off the tv they let you dream on; fill the image in with any detail you like.

The point where it gets scary is when people don't realize they are being led on. I can see younger teenagers having the image of high school as a place where only good-looking people walk around, where cheerleaders and soccer players reign and where the concept of a cantine has been confused with that of a bar. Schools that only consist of hallways. Have you noticed these lucky children never *EVER* have classes? And if there are classes, they are always just finished.

I am pleading for a soap with ugly people in them, absolute losers as main characters, who are not capable of finding a partner because they don't change their underwear regularly and fart in company. I think that should be a hit.

It's been done, hasn't it.

Dawson: "Next time I want to do anything like this, would you chain me to my bed until I can think straight again?"
Joey: "Could I use leather straps?"

Finding what I never needed on Google:
"This page uses frames, but your fucked up, of-no-use, outdated server doesn't support them"

The Lion King, Nightwish, Nirvana. Yep, that combination makes sense to me.

Do you know what Chandler did today?
