{18082001}I have just added the lovely Liv photo to the start page of this diary. Isn't she gorgeous? Hans thought it was me. Flattering, but no... I am still playing around with the lay out, I'm not entirely happy with it yet. I would have liked the image a tad smaller, but I wouldn't know for the world how to do that. Now the whole seems a bit "too much", doesn't it...
What do you think?I went to a beach party last night. That was my second party of this month. Am I getting trendy?
This party wasn't as scary as the one I went to last week after the concert. The people were mostly of my age or older here. I was with Christophe and Tim, also accompanied by the former's younger brother and niece. We had some pretty good fun. Although going out with these two guys always requires strong nerves. Christophe has the inexhaustable urge to let people on. He will, for instance, act like he drank too much when driving and complain about black spots before his eyes and discussing the meaning of signs with his companion just to make me go all screamy and worried. "Christoooophe, yes, that light IS green. Park the car, now, immediately!" And then he will at once grin at me and make me realize he trapped me, again.
And again and again. He is mad, but in a nice way.
He called me last night and asked me if I wished to join him to the party. "We are picking you up at nine. I will be having a late night, but you will be able to sit down there, and if you get tired you can rest in the car, and if you get really really tired I will take you home whenever you want." How could anyone resist such an offer?I had to sit down thru most of the evening, which gave me the chance to chat to a few people and observe others. I never get tired of that. Sometimes I felt like *I* was the attraction though. Fish net panties and velvet skirts weren't part of the local dress code. Which was a shame, if you ask me...:)
Round midnight I started feeling rather ill, so the boys took me home. They were in a teasy mood as ever, but I was too tired to mind or to even listen.Just as I had wrapped my blanket around myself and had found a cuddly sleeping position, it started to rain and thunder very loudly. I don't remember having ever seen such bright lightning. It was kind of romantic... as being a wannabe writer I should have gotten up and written a poem about it, but it just made me whiney because I really wanted to sleep, lol.

Today I heard:
I watched bits of Notting Hill today. This film is absolutely hilarious.
"What is this thing men have with breasts? They look funny, they contain milk, your mother has them..."
"Hmm, dunno, let me have a look. (pause)Beats me."*
music:
Commercial teenage music. I'm sure it's great...*
